Extend the life of your glazing
Serviced glazing works the way it should
Glazing is a mechanical system: the rollers, bearings, seals and locks wear in use. When a worn part is not replaced in time, the panels start to slide heavily, the seal weakens and eventually the glass and the profiles themselves can be damaged. Regular servicing keeps the glazing in working order and postpones the need for a major repair.
We service balcony and terrace glazing regardless of the manufacturer – not only our own products. The service is aimed in particular at housing companies and property managers who have a whole line of balconies to look after at once.
Servicing suits your building when
- the panels slide heavily or rattle in the wind
- the seals have hardened or water is getting in
- the locks, latches or rollers are worn
- the housing company wants the glazing of the whole balcony line inspected at once

What does a service visit include?
On the service visit we replace the worn parts identified in the survey – typically the rollers, bearings, seals and locks – and adjust the movement and the fixings of the panels. Damaged glass or profiles can be renewed on the same visit when the need has been identified in the survey.
How does servicing work in a housing company?
The property manager or the board gets in touch and tells us about the building. We make a survey visit, prepare a quote for the whole building and agree a schedule that disturbs residents as little as possible. If the balconies have reached the end of their service life, see also modular balconies.
