This policy explains what data we process when you contact us through the website and how you can exercise your data protection rights.

Data we process
We process the contact details you provide in the form, the service you select and the content of your message. Running and protecting the website may also generate necessary technical log data, such as the IP address, the time of the request and its technical details.
Purpose and legal basis
We use the data to reply to your message, to assess your service needs and to prepare a possible quote or contract. The processing is based on carrying out the pre-contractual steps you have requested and on our legitimate interest in handling customer enquiries and protecting the service from misuse.
Retention period
Contact data is retained for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact, unless longer retention is needed because of a contract, a legal claim or a statutory obligation. Unnecessary data is deleted. Technical log data, such as the IP address, is deleted automatically when the service provider’s short log retention period ends.
Service providers and transfers
The website runs on Vercel’s hosting service and uses Resend’s email service. They process data only to provide the service. Messages sent through the form are received in the company’s mailbox, hosted by Zoner Oy (Finland). The service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. In that case, transfers are protected with safeguards under the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Your rights
Depending on the situation, you have the right to access your data, to request its rectification or erasure, to restrict processing, to object to processing and to have the data you have provided transferred. You can make a request by email to myynti@terassimaailma.fi. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
Cookies and tracking
The website does not use marketing or profiling cookies. Only technical solutions necessary for delivering and protecting the service may be used.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy if our services or data processing change. The current version is always published on this page.
